Of interest to note is that Mr. Trevisan only started to play the piano at age 16. He further pursued his studies at the Hartt School of Music for a degree in piano performance. There, he studied with Dr. Luiz de Moura Castro, and also studied composition with composers such as Dr. Robert Carl, Ingram Marshall, and Elizabeth Brown. Mr. Trevisan's primary instrument of choice is the piano, but he also has composed for other ensembles, such as string quartets and orchestras.
